The unSupreme Court Six

I am a teacher. I know the unSupreme Court Six have put Democracy at risk for their Dear Leader, the Mango Menace (I WILL NOT USE HIS NAME AS HE HAS LOST ANY PRIVILEGE OF RESPECT).

There is blame to spread for this ridiculous ruling. But I will start with Moscow Mitch McConnell. Haven’t heard much from him lately, but he gave us this court from his actions in the Senate. Merrick Garland should be on the court (eliminating Gorsuch) and Coney-Barrett shouldn’t be on the court. But the United States Senate does not represent the people very well.*

Next, I would lay this at the feet of the Supreme Court itself when it selected George W. Bush as President in 2000. Every recount in Florida indicates that Gore won, but the Supreme Court began its descent into fascism when it stopped the recount.

And there are the voters . . . those who gave us the Bushes (who gave us Thomas, Roberts, and Alito), and the Mango Menace (Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Coney-Barrett). Elections have consequences!

The decision of the unSupreme Court Six makes the election in November all the more important. The Mango Menace already has demonstrated his contempt for the rule of law, and with this ruling, if he were elected again, he would embody Richard Nixon’s, “When the President does it, that means it’s not illegal.”

*The ten least populated states have a population that is roughly equal to the population of Los Angeles County. That’s twenty senators that represent ten states compared to a quarter of the population of California and its two Senators.
